Does this inner stuff matter?

The question that most stuck with me after this year's, the fourth Inner Development Goals Summit, was: "So, what does this inner stuff mean to you and why is it important?"
Peter Senge had literally an hour before asked me to join him for the Closing Session of the day, only to confront me with this question, out of nowhere, live on stage. And here I was, suddenly facing the core of it all. In that moment, I realized once more that the Summit is not just an event I help to shape but also a mirror of my own inner journey.
Because I truly believe this inner stuff matters.
I truly believe it can change our current trajectory.
I see it happen, on a daily basis - in myself and in the world around me.
And for the span of a few hours, a thousand people on-site and several thousand online saw it, too. With every person who stepped on that stage, paying tribute to their own commitment to inner growth for outer change.
So I say thank you to every single one of you, for sharing the belief that "this inner stuff truly matters" and proving word by word and experience by experience why it is important.
Thank you
Christiana Figueres & Kirsten Dunlop, for stepping into the unknown and setting an unforgettable tone by truly daring to show yourselves as you are.
Kasper for illustrating so clearly how change can work and inviting us to let our voices be heard, even when they are trembling.
Cindy for proving that companies can be happy places.
Pamela and your speakers for holding the space for us to build the capacity to deal with our own inner polarities.
Rev James Wuye and Imam Ashafa for sharing the unimaginable magnitude of your willingness to forgive and being a role model to us all.
Ali, for bringing your captivating energy and true dedication to our stage.
Katie, for making the wait worthwhile and letting your lessons be a teacher to us all.
Max, Chia and Violeta for truly touching us with your real-life stories.
All our artists for making meaning tangible in our hearts, not just our brains.
And of course, Peter - for your invitation to share the stage and building this ethical space together.
